Testimonials

  • I can’t believe how much I actually learnt in the ten weeks! I really enjoyed photography before the course but after doing it I have a whole new love and understanding for it! Michelle explained everything so we could all understand it and really made us feel comfortable. I highly recommend! Thanks Michelle!

  • I highly recommend Michelle’s DSLR short course to anyone wanting to get started with photography or improve their existing skills. I was a complete beginner at the start of the course, and within the duration of 10 classes I can now confidently shoot on manual mode in a variety of photography styles. The best part of the course is Michelle’s passion and talent in her work which really shines through in everything she does – she is an excellent teacher. Thanks Michelle for helping me to discover this wonderful skill!!

  • Michelle is not only a very talented photographer, she’s also a fantastic teacher, with a real gift for sharing her immense knowledge with others. She made every step of the DSLR course fun and practical, and the learning was solid. Beforehand I was reluctant to take my “big” camera out with me, as I rarely got shots that were good enough to make it worth the effort. Now I happily take it everywhere, confident that I’m on a positive photography journey. Despite the huge learning curve, the course was well paced and most enjoyable and the results were tangible every step of the way. It was excellent value and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it highly to anyone wanting to say goodbye to auto mode forever!

  • Michelle’s infectious passion for photography infused each session with extremely accessible information which built and layered with each weeks exercises. Besides learning what the camera was capable of and how to switch to manual for good, I found I was seeing differently and noticing the world in a different way. I thoroughly recommend Michelle and her professionally run, fun MDP DSLR courses. Just do it!!

  • I just wanted to drop you a line and say a massive thanks for the photo course just gone.
14 years ago myself and hubby went to Tasmania, and I was so upset that I didn’t get a single ‘good’ photo. This time around, armed with your advice, I’m pleased to report that I have a bucket load of good photos!! It was a joy to take the holiday, knowing that I had a reasonable chance of capturing the shot I wanted. So again, thank you. I really enjoyed the sessions and the proof is in the photos from the last three weeks.
